Turkish and Russian freighters collided in Bosphorus, Istanbul

Turkish and Russian general cargo ships, TAHSIN IMAMOGLU and RUSICH 10, collided in Bosphorus Strait in the Beykoz area, in the morning of Sep 25. Both ships were transiting the Strait in the same northern direction, RUSICH 10 en route from Rodaport Turkey to Taganrog Russia, TAHSIN IMAMOGLU en route from Diliskelesi to Eregli Turkey, Black sea. Both ships after the collision were taken to Buyukdere anchorage and anchored. Both ships suffered damages: RUSICH 10 in the starboard fore area; TAHSIN IMAMOGLU in the portside bow area

Marine Traffic reported that the General Cargo TAHSIN IMAMOGLU is currently located at BSEA – Black Sea at position 41° 9′ 37.296″ N, 29° 3′ 12.096″ E as reported by MarineTraffic Terrestrial Automatic Identification System on 2021-09-25 09:31 UTC (3 minutes ago)
Added: The wind in this area at that time blows from the North direction at force 0 Beaufort.
The vessel is currently at port ISTANBUL, TR and her next destination is EREGLI, TR
