Surveyor fell descending from anchored bulk carrier, died

Surveyor fell into the water and died on Dec 22 at outer anchorage off Payra port, Bangladesh, 65-year old surveyor boarded bulk carrier NERAIDA to survey cargo of coal, destined for a power plant. After he completed his work, he began descending to moored alongside bulk carrier lighter ship, which initially, took him to bulk carrier. He slipped and fell into the water. He was rescued sometime later and transported to the hospital, but declared dead.
