Shipping Lines : Hamburg Süd’s tradition of naming ships

San Francisco, CA)…In keeping with Hamburg Süd’s tradition of naming ships after geographical landmarks, the “Petkum” has been named “Cap Salia” during her port stay in Oakland on February 19, 2021. The ship was phased into the service late last year and will now carry a name associated with Cape Salia in Samoa.
