Ports : PD Ports commended with top ‘Gold’ award

PD Ports is celebrating after achieving Gold status at the internationally recognized RoSPA Awards for its ongoing commitment to demonstrating the highest health and safety standards across its operations, according to the company’s release.
The port operator, which is headquartered in the Tees Valley, owns and operates 12 key ports and logistics centers nationwide including Teesport, the fifth largest port in the UK, and Groveport, the UK’s hub for steel imports.

Receiving over 2,000 entrants each year the RoSPA Awards are regarded as the highest possible accolade in the health and safety industry across the globe with winners regarded as world-leaders in health and safety practices.
PD Ports will be presented with its prestigious award at a virtual ceremony in September.
