Hello Maritime Mile’ Encourages Everyone to Jump Onboard for a Summer Adventure

Maritime Mile, an initiative by Maritime Belfast Trust the charity responsible for preserving Belfast’s maritime and industrial heritage, has launched ‘Hello Maritime Mile’.   A campaign encouraging everyone to take on a post-lockdown adventure by exploring Belfast’s iconic waterfront experience – an outdoor museum of Titanic proportions.

With safety guidelines in place for everyone to follow, the Maritime Mile’s world-famous attractions, fantastic eateries and first-class accommodation have reopened and are already welcoming visitors back to the iconic waterfront destination. 
Keep up to date with the exciting lineup of events and festivals happening over the coming months including Giant Tour Experiences featuring Photography Tours and Glass of Thrones Walking Tours. Also, look out on maritime-mile.com for the People on the Maritime Mile video series. Hear from people who live, work and play along the Maritime Mile and what makes the place special to them.
To mark the occasion, the Lagan Footbridge, St Joseph’s Church, Titanic Belfast, Titanic Hotel Belfast and the Great Light will be lighting up blue tonight (Tuesday 8th June), to support the Hello Maritime Mile campaign

On another side, Belfast Harbour says it has awarded £25,000 to twelve organisations, in the first round of the Belfast Harbour Community Awards Fund
