MERCY SHIPS PARTNERS WITH PROPELme FOR SEAFARER TALENT SEARCH

  • Mercy Ships is a faith-based international charity that deploys hospital ships to some of the poorest countries in the world, delivering free, life-saving healthcare to the people who need it most.
  • PROPELme is a lifestyle platform that aims to ‘revolutionise seafarers’ lives at sea’ by providing the best career opportunities, content, bespoke features, and perks.
  • Recruit by PROPELme is a set of industry-leading tools for finding, engaging, and retaining seafarers

Mercy Ships and PROPELme are announcing our new partnership today that will provide access to industry-leading seafarer talent search tools and a platform to communicate directly with the maritime industry.

Volunteer seafarers are the backbone of Mercy Ships, whose work includes over 11,000 vital surgical and dental procedures, as well as training more than 700 local medical professionals throughout 2021.

So far in 2022, the volunteer surgeons onboard the Africa Mercy have performed more than 270 surgeries in the Port of Dakar, transforming the lives of patients, families, and communities. Mariners operate the ships, so the medical teams can perform smooth and safe life-altering procedures.
