Matthijs van Doorn succeeded Emile Hoogsteden as Vice President Commercial. In the preceding seven years, Van Doorn was responsible for developing the hinterland network as Director of Logistics. In the past two years, he was also involved in setting up the digital strategy and was responsible for the digital portfolio of the Port of Rotterdam Authority.

Matthijs van Doorn has gained extensive experience in logistics. Before joining the Port of Rotterdam Authority he had worked in various commercial positions at TNT. Besides his knowledge of the logistics sector, his experience includes complex projects in digitization, sales, and supply chain optimization.
