He indicated that Sumitomo will provide nearly 10,000 job opportunities, and this number is expected to double after the completion of all the company’s new expansions in Egypt.
The signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones and Sumitomo Egypt took place to establish the largest factory for the Japanese company “Sumitomo” in the world for the manufacture of electrical braids for cars and vehicles, under the free zone system, on an area of 150,000 square meters in the “Tenth of Ramadan” city.
The signing was attended by Mr. Oka Hiroshi, Ambassador of Japan to Cairo, Mr. Mirsha Serbo, President of Sumitomo Europe Operations, Mr. Ahmed Magdy, Managing Director of Sumitomo Egypt, and Mr. Rodolph Arday, Deputy Managing Director of the company and Counselor Mohamed Abdel Wahab, CEO For the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones
