Container ship MARFRET MARAJO ran aground at around 2040 UTC May 16 in Barranquilla Canal fairway while approaching Barranquilla, on arrival from Cartagena. The ship was refloated at around 0400 UTC on May 17, safely reached port, and was berthed at 0640 UTC the same day. no reports on damages, probably none.
