Freighter disabled sailing through downtown Rotterdam

General cargo ship EEMS COBALT suffered engine failure in downtown Rotterdam just above Willemsbrug Bridge in Nieuwe Maas river, at around 0530 UTC Oct 7, while proceeding upstream towards Dordrecht. The ship had to drop portside anchor in an emergency, to prevent collision or contact. About an hour later she was moved to a nearby pier and berthed, resumed sailing towards Dordrecht at 0750 UTC, and safely reached the port of destination at 1030 UTC.
