Cunard’s majestic #QM2 arriving to Ocean Terminal this morning. I love this ship. She was the first big cruise ship I saw up close when I started my career in the Port Industry 12 years ago. I’ll never forget it. The sheer scale of her. From that moment I knew I was hooked!
It feels very strange to be mooring her at a cruise terminal today which is normally buzzing with life, and today feels so different.. quiet and subdued.
I can’t wait for the day to come to be standing on the quay again with my friends and colleagues from Solent Stevedores Ltd, Carnival UK (P&O Cruises & Cunard) and Associated British Ports and feel that buzz again!
