Drilling ship broke off moorings, allided with heavy lift ship, Rotterdam

Mega container ship EVER GENTLE wasn’t the only victim of strong winds which lashed Rotterdam on Feb 6. In Waalhaven drilling ship HIDDEN GEM broke off her moorings, drifted across a narrow basin, and allided with berthed heavy lift ship BLACK MARLIN, at around 1650 UTC Feb 6. HIDDEN GEM was taken back to the berth, no information on both ships’ damages, though as it seems, there should be some, however slight or superficial.
