Disabled bulk carrier emergency anchored, Dardanelles

Bulk carrier HC JANA-ROSA suffered engine failure in Dardanelles at around 1130 UTC Oct 15 in Cardak area while transiting the Straits in northern direction, en route from Trieste Italy to Tekirdag Turkey, Marmara sea. The bulk carrier was assisted by Straits Traffic Control tugs and anchored at Sevketiye anchorage. As of 0130 UTC Oct 16, the ship was still at anchor.
