Chinese freighter arrested in Canada

Canadian Federal Court issued an arrest warrant on Dec 2, to detain Chinese general cargo ship QIAN KUN, berthed at Happy Valley-Goose Bay, northern Atlantic coast of Canada, since Nov 23. A warrant was filed in Halifax after Miller Shipping, a marine contractor, claimed it wasn’t fully paid for the job done, to load the ship with woodcut, the outstanding debt being $255,089.50.
