Bulk carrier YAMTAI, in load, allided with Piers 30 and 29 corners at Taichung Port, Taiwan, in the evening of Apr 29, in the process of shifting berths.

The ship suffered a hull breach in the midship area, a 1-meter length hole or slash is above the waterline, so there’s no water ingress. Berth wall, specifically fenders, sustained serious damages.
