Bulgarian seaman died after falling into hold, police found death suspicious

A deckhand of bulk carrier LUDOGORETS, berthed at Samsun port, turkey, Black sea, died on the spot after falling into cargo hold from a 14-meter height. Understood tragic accident took place on Oct 12 or Oct 13. Police found circumstances of the death of a 47-year old Bulgarian seaman suspicious, investigation was launched. Bulk carrier with a cargo of copper arrived at Samsun from Burgas Bulgaria, on Oct 9.

Marine Traffic reported that: Bulk Carrier LUDOGORETS is currently located at BSEA – Black Sea at position 41° 25′ 21.252″ N, 36° 39′ 28.332″ E as reported by MarineTraffic Terrestrial Automatic Identification System on 2021-10-13 15:41 UTC (2 minutes ago)
Added: The wind in this area at that time blows from the Northeast direction at force 0 Beaufort.

The vessel departed from SAMSUN, TR on 2021-10-13 17:11 LT (UTC +3) and is currently sailing at 11.6 knots with East direction heading to POTI, GE with reported Estimated Time of Arrival at 2021-10-14 19:00 LT (UTC +3) local time (in 1 day )

LUDOGORETS (IMO: 9415155) is a Bulk Carrier that was built in 2010 (11 years ago) and is sailing under the flag of Malta.
Its carrying capacity is 29618 t DWT and her current draught is
reported to be 7.6 meters. Her length overall (LOA) is 189.65 meters and her width is 23.75 meters.
