The huge Panamanian container ship “Ever given” is approaching Port Said, only to cross the Suez Canal again on a new voyage eastwards from the Dutch port of Rotterdam 23 days after leaving the Suez Canal and Asia.
And until tomorrow, Friday, the ship will cross the northern convoy coming from the Mediterranean in Port Said via Ismailia and Suez to the Red Sea on the way back, as the American news website “the loadstar”
The location stated that the ship is currently about 350 kilometers northwest of Port Said at the northern canal entrance, suggesting that it will arrive at the entrance to the waterway today morning in the evening.
The website added that it was wrong for the ship to be doing repairs in the town of Dunkirk, France, and rumors re-escalated that it was also going to the European country of Malta for repairs, but the website stated that this information was unfounded and currently leads to the Suez Canal.

Ever Given surrounded by tugs and dredgers

The ship had crossed the waterway on July 7th after signing settlement agreements with the Suez Canal and began unloading its cargo 23 days after leaving the Suez Canal in the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands and then arrived at the 4th port of Felixstow in Suffolk to dock in the UK.
