Best voluntary charity launched by the Prince Bin Mohammed International Foundation ( PMFHD )

Prince Muhammad bin Fahd International Foundation ( PMFHD ) in partnership with, Arab Union for Volunteeringlaunched the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd International Foundation’s Award for the best voluntary charity in its fourth edition, which will be worldwide for the second year and in its fourth edition.

 

Where the registration for the participating projects starts from July 05, 2022, until August 15, 2022, on the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, on December 5 of each year, and the Award is held under the auspices of the League of Arab States and in partnership with the United Nations Volunteers Program through the regional office in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Secretary-General of the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd International Foundation, ( PMFHD ) His Excellency Dr. Issa bin Hassan Al-Ansari, stressed that the global award comes within the goals and vision of the Foundation to spread the culture of volunteer work in the Arab countries in particular and the countries of the world in general, and to motivate volunteers to innovate and be creative with volunteer work and its development.

Dr. Al-Ansari explained that the Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd International Foundation’s Award for Best Voluntary Work in its previous versions received positive global responses among humanitarian and charitable institutions and international organizations specialized in developing and promoting the goals of the United Nations for sustainable development

On the other hand, Mr. Hassan Bouhaza, President of the Arab Volunteering Union, emphasized that this version of the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd International Award competition for the best voluntary Charity targets the category of organizations, institutions, and NGOs, the category of initiatives and licensed volunteer teams, and the category of governmental and private institutions and commercial companies, while the fields of the necklace for this year will include six areas.

They are the field of education and eradication of ignorance and literacy, the field of food security and the eradication of hunger, the field of health, well-being, hygiene, and clean water, the field of economic empowerment, the eradication of poverty and decent work, the field of environment, climate, clean energy, life underwater and life on land, the field of heritage, culture and the arts.

Participate from the beginning of this July until August 15, 2022, where projects are submitted in both English and Arabic, and the form is obtained through the foundations and pages of the site

An international non-governmental organization registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 04-2464 July 2018, the Union is the first Arab framework for volunteering that brings together the bodies, organizations, associations, and centers that work in voluntary work. It is composed of entities and organizations concerned with volunteer work in the Arab countries called the Arab Union for Volunteering. The membership includes (17) leading Arab organizations in the field of volunteer, developmental and humanitarian.
