With a resolution that has just been issued, the National Anti-Corruption Authority (Anac) has decided to dismiss the pantouflage case concerning Luigi Merlo and the MSC Group without imposing the sanction envisaged by the law against the Swiss group which at the beginning of 2017 had assumed (with the role of Director of Institutional Relations for Italy)

The former president of the port of Genoa Luigi Merlo until autumn 2015: the ban on negotiation with public administrations for three years.

Here is the text. All contracts signed by MSC (in ports and beyond) with Italian public administrations in recent years are therefore safe, as well as those to come, starting with the possible acquisition of the airline Ita Airways from the Treasury.
