Ms. Madadh MacLaine from Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association (ZESTAs) will join Panel “𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬” as moderator at Connecting Green Hydrogen Europe 2022.

Madadh MacLaine is a visionary social entrepreneur working in #sustainability and the #maritime sector. She is the Founder and CEO of Zero Emissions Maritime Technology Ltd (ZEM-Tech) Secretary-General of the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association (ZESTAs), as well as Founder Director of Fair Winds Trust. She has a background in #hydrogen water #electrolysis and maritime systems, having represented ITM Power, plc, in the maritime industry.

Madadh has been working in zero-emissions shipping since she began designing for a ZE multi-access cargo ship in 2000. Frustrated by the lack of available technology, she set off on a course to bring ZE Ship Technology to the market and founded ZESTAs to promote the interests of the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Industry in 2019.

The goals of ZESTAs are to support ZE Technology development, represent its interests in the international shipping industry and regulatory bodies, and ensure a level playing field for Zero Emissions Ship Technologies, as well as shipowners, who are coming under increasing pressure to decarbonize their fleets.

Mr. Bruno Esgalhado from McKinsey & Company will join Panel “𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦” as moderator at Connecting Green Hydrogen Europe 2022.

𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗼 𝗘𝘀𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗼 is a 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 in the 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 of McKinsey & Co, dedicated to the #Energy Practice, co-leading our Energy and H2 practice in #Iberia and leading our Customer Service efforts in the Energy practice globally.

Bruno is an expert in #Hydrogen, #renewables, #power retail & new downstream, having served multiple clients across Europe, Latam, Middle-East, Asia-Pacific, and US markets in developing their strategy, portfolio optimization, and commercial value proposition, as well as a strategy towards renewable / 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻.

𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐢 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲, will have an opening keynote on “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗽 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲” at Connecting Green Hydrogen Europe 2022.

Kadri Simson is an Estonian #politician from the Centre Party. She is serving as a 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 in the Von der Leyen Commission since 1 December 2019. She was previously the Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure in Jüri Ratas’ first cabinet from 2016 to 2019.

During the Estonian Presidency in the Council of the #EU, Simson chaired both #energy ministers and #transport ministers meetings in TTE Council and ministers of the economy format in EU Competitiveness Council.
