Offshore : Stena Drilling signed a new contract with Noble Energy for a campaign in Mediterranean

Offshore drilling contractor ‘Stena Drilling’ ultra-deepwater drillship to work on a decommissioning campaign offshore Israel, plus a potential optional scope for Noble Energy in Cyprus

Stena Forth has been selected for this workscope and shall mobilize to offshore Israel between July and August 2021.

The day rate is expected to be around U$ 175,000.

Company confirmed that there are four (4) wells to decommission and the work is estimated to take around 80 days.

Moreover, there is an option to extend the contract for up to three (3) P&A wells and one (1) Completion in Israel, as well as one (1) further option well for offshore Cyprus.

In addition, Tullow Oil to use Stena Forth for a one well contract off Suriname, and rig to mobilize in late December 2020 or early January 2021 with a planned campaign start in January or February 2021.
